The doors will unlock in a crash! A few years back my airbag sensor was wayyyyy too sensitive and the airbag went off after coming down a speed bump, the doors unlocked then.

Get it looked at for a second opinion if you think your being taken for a ride or something. If it really is as bad as he says its more than likely engine out job depending on the damage and if thats the case may be more economical to get another 1 if its cheap enough. Nightmare though mate...

I think you will get dogs everywhere you look not just ebay even when they are 'Mint' . Plently of photos and a nice polish is the best you can do photography wise i'd say

if you get a decent enough size on then it should stay pretty tight when pushed in. Bonding on is another option I guess, running the CAF down is easy enough on the 1.2's

Had a similar sounding problem myself, turned out just to be a loose spark plug :rasp:

Ok ........... so the problem was a spark plug had worked its way loose!! Rediculous I know and I had the EXACT same noise as in the videos of Dr Rolloo and Fred but thats what it was. Stupid problems are the worst but glad thats it!!

if your phone has the capability to stream music across bluetooth then yeah shouldnt be a problem

I have one in mine and does a super job indeed. Only problem being that the dongle that comes with the original pack means you cant charge the phone at the same time but theres a replacement on ebay that allows this. Can't fault it in the slightest

Either sounds like its not finding grip or the ball joints etc. Did you check for leaky shocks?

Ok so the noise appears to continue throughout the rev range (I only took as far as 3.5k) in first and second. BUT disappears when I blip the throttle or when i come off acceleration and comes back when it settles on idle! Still sound like dephaser??

Yeah I'm very reluctant to drive it anywhere DrRollo! Had to drive it home a few miles last night after I started hearing it so essentially the engine was warm and the noise wasn't as bad. I'm going to have a look in a bit and check see if the noise dissappears but from what I think I can...

Just developed the usual sound of a dephasher pulley on its way out (tractor time, same as how Dr Rollos car did) but what other checks can I do to rule anything else out before I make shapes towards sorting the dephaser??:dapprove:

I did both mine and trevs mate, might have a polished fuel rail guard floating about the garage at ma's if your interested. Other than that try ej polishing... have a sponsored listing on RMS
