You missed the most important - only available in scarab green and limited plaque as with the williams but fewer made. Oh and its faster than a standard 172;) (waits for the onslaught of negative comments)

It can be the exhaust manifold, engine mounts or loss of traction axle tramp wheelspin etc. Its very common in 172s and as long as you can put up with it nothing to worry about. Try not hammering it in first but change at about 4k then rag it in 2nd etc.

I think the valver has better lift off oversteer characteristics than the 172 and it turns in better with more feel of the road. The 172 scares me a little when the back end gets loose as im never sure if it will suck back in again with a lift off the gas pedal. Maybe the cup is better for this...

I got a feeling some people will be driving around thinking they have the cup pack and not actually had the suspension tweeked at all.

surley a tvr is a v6/v12? the valver sounds great but have you heard a 5litre TVR grifith on full chat?
