Theres no oil coming from the shocker and i have bounced on all corners of the car and seems to rebound ok. Car steers slightly to the side but think thats due to my tracking getting knocked out. The kocking can be felt more when turning right.
right just had a look. if i turn the driveshaft in my hand i can feel a knock/clunk which i can tell if its coming from gearbox end or cv boot end. I javked up the otherside and this also had a clunk. Is this just the cogs moving normally?
I have took some pics. There is no movement or play...
I have swapped the wheels round and it is still knoking in that front left area. I have gave everything i could see a shake and pull such as driveshaft, shock, hub etc etc and there is still a knocking when driving. Seeems a little worse when turning.
looking under the car there is no scuffs or...
Yeah that was me unfortunatley. Turned right into the chicane and the back end went which i managed to sort out but then when i turned into the left hander it went in a slide. Car is making a knocking noise now which i hope is just a buckled wheel.
knocking when straight at low speed and then can feel it again at 70+ through the steering wheel.
I will put my spare on tomoz and check over the car.
When i first did it there was a scweeling noise when turning but that stopped. and then noticed knocking.
I went on track today at fcs and managed to spin off onto the grass. It now makes a knocking noise from the front left wheel area and i can hear it and feel it through the steering wheel. Any ideas?
Just trashed my eagle f1 giving it some on the right handers. Only brought the tyre last weekend.
Amazing day. Wrecked one of my eagle f1's which are a week old. Its the front left which isn't a suprise considering how i was taking those corners.
I spun off on the back chicane and hit the grass. Now have a knocking noise fromthe wheel which ain't good.
