I ran mine in for 15 minutes, after that anyone was game. Loosens the engine up. Had a friendly race with a rather quick RS Turbo yesterday, and the a Passat V6 driven by a suit. No worries.
So, MrGrale, do your Cup a favour and stop thinking about this "running in b****cks", and go kick some...

Havent heard anything on the promised options so I am sorting out my own instead. My car handles so well I wont bother with 17s. I am sure others more informed can shed more light on the situation.
Best of luck!

Thats strange JoZeff, as Evo did a similar thing a couple of years ago, and the ITR came second. But then driving conditions might be different over there. Is gravel a part of your road tests? In Sweden, all road tests include gravel driving, so the outcomes are somewhat different from over here...
Interesting. Has the Konig seats got slots for harnesses? I might give your man a ring tomorrow. I really need them before Donington in February though...

I am still struggling with the bleedin seats. Thinking of fitting buckets with harnesses, but then that would disable the airbag as well, wouldnt it? Can you fit some kind of relay gadget into the circuit to bypass this problem?
Ive got my eyes( and arse ) on the Sparco Pro2000, which is...
I think theres a distinct smell of something in the air. I feel fairly qualified to answer the query, as I have a Cup now, and used to have an ITR until about half a year ago. Did 26k in the ITR, and used it on track as well as on road. Used the AP22 accelerometer on both cars on the same road...

Right, I have to revise my previously expressed opinion on the K-Tec quickshift mechanism, it wasnt adjusted properly, and now that its sorted I have to say I am quite pleased with it. So I agree with everyone else now.
Heard you bought a Cup now MrGrale, hope youll enjoy it!

I have had the quickshift fitted, but apparently rather poorly, as the car alternately jumps into reverse, third or first when you try to selct the latter. Pain in the anus. I am still debating which seats to go for, but again come up against the pretensioners and airbag sensor light, so I am...

Ive done almost 2500 miles in mine, and find it great fun. Road drivimg can be hard work, with considerable tramlining and torque steer, breaks can lock up easily on road.
On track it proved to be far better than I thought. In the rain it absolutely stonked around, it was fantastically...
