slow as F00k?
have you driven a dCi with a strong custom re-map and K&N filter?
172 = 1100kg and 148lb/ft torque
dCi 110 = 980kg and 180+lb/ft torque
I'd hardly say 122mph or 50-70 in top in 7.5 secs on GPS was slow ?
Rather than finding £10K for a Meg GT/RS etc. I've had a idea........
All I want is MUCH MORE performance but decent economy (50+) ?
- upgrade the brakes and suspension on the Clio (grooved/vented and coilovers)
- stick in a 1.9dci 130 (re-mapped to 150) or even a 2.0dCi...
50's are cheaper and give slightly higher gearing, so better economy and quieter cruising!

^ ^ 3.4% difference on here, so 103.4 mph at indicated 100
Hiya!
Dave
P.S: what's improvements with a box?, I've got 110bhp and 180lb/ft from a strong custom re-map on an 80!
P.P.S: fit a K&N - does not feel wheezy above 3500rpm and will touch a ton in 4th!
yes, then I open the 'sent' message
tells me who I sent it to and when etc.
but without chasing them by phone or re-sending, how can I see what that person did with my message?
I'd put a dozen absolutely 'perfect' pics and sell on www.autotrader.co.uk for £1500
don't mention bad points - a few tiny chips and dents are expected on a ten year old.
VERY low mileage and condition WILL be the sellers
£500+ thro insurance, possibly more since needs bumper refitting, bumper and wing respray.
Might get to pay half that 'cash-in-hand', but I'd be suprised at any less!
^ ^ difference is I can rag the nuts of mine and will still do 53!
20K @ 45mpg = £2000
20K @ 60mpg = £1500
that's 500 notes more to spend on beer, sex and drugs :-)
