I have just had some very minor dents removed from my Williams. The guy that did it is based in Cannock in Staffs and came to my house. If anyone needs a good cheap service i have the guys phone number and will pass it on. Cost me £25 for 3 dents and they are now completely gone. This guy was good.
Just been to B&Q and they sell some nice drain pipe pieces that would make ideal scoops for air intake pipes on my Williams. Experimentation at the weekend has convinced me that there is power to be had by using some sort of front mounted air scoop to ram ait into the air box. The only trouble...
Well that included taking the wheels off and cleaning the arches, quick go round the engine bay, three coats of wax and a chat with a sexy bird from down the road. Think she only stopped because i had my top off.
Is it just me or is this a never ending job? I always seem to be cleaning it. Just been cleaning from 12 pm to 6 pm just because i got caught out in the rain in my car. Roads must be filthy.
The prototype didnt have a chassis number. It wasnt 0001. It just had a prototype number. And it wasnt off the production line, so to speak, so wasnt chassis number 0001.
Am i right in assuming that when you run NOS you get a massive but short term increase in BHP, until the NOS has run out? This cant be good for a little engine that is designed to put out 150 - 200 BHP, or am i wrong?
If this is so, isnt it possible to get NOS fitted so that you get a safe...
I was looking at my friends Pug 106 gti and he has a air scoop that sits ontop of the radiator and i guess it forces air into the air box. It must work pretty well because with just a chip, exhaust and this scoop his car is very rapid.
I tried a similar thing on my Williams. I took out the...
Mine was owned by Renault UK for 3 years as a show piece. It was registered in 1997 with 800 miles on the clock. The guy who bought it owned a Renault garage and he ran it to 17,000 miles, and thats when i bought it this year.
Can you reuse the sump nut washer? I want to change my oil and nobody has a new washer in stock. Also never changed oil on the Williams myself. Is there anything that is tricky about it over any other car?
I should be a detective. Ok lots of phone calls later and i now have the definitive story of Williams 0001 and why stories of it being written off occured (this comes from someone who was in marketing at Renault during the production of the Williams models).
The Williams prototype WAS written...
Ive just contacted an industry insider and he didnt know what had happened to 0001, but did say he was sure 0001 was RIGHT HAND DRIVE. But when i went to the Williams factory it is clearly left hand drive. I do beleive what Williams told me. This is getting very confusing. Some one posted on...

Some guy in Germany has fitted a Willy engine into his Twingo. How much do twingos weigh? Sounds pretty fast to me.
