    Got an interview with Superchips!

    Ill be having a telephone interview with the MD of Superchips tomorrow for the position of Junior IT Developer. It will basically be writing/updating the software they use for tuning cars but also involve some support and sales. Bit of a different role but might aswell see what I think!

    Yeah its on the sticker on the drivers door pillar. I think they are usually a letter followed by 2 or 3 numbers. My Liquid Yellow is the code J37

    If it worked nobody would bother with the likes of Superchips. Its been discussed before and I think it does something like fool the engine into thinking its colder? Dont bother buying it, go get the proper thing done.

    Insurance on a 172 at 21

    I was paying £1200 on my 172 when I was 21. Now Im 24 and paying £700 on my 182, but that is insured for business miles which puts it up a bit.

    Thats mine :oops: Your welcome to come down and have a look at mine, but to do it justice it has to be clean as then you get the effect of the paint. Its filthy at the moment and looks more black than yellow! I agree with the price, makes it more exclusive!

    The one at Bedford uses a Hunter (if I remember correctly) laser alignment which is all done through a computer. You put in details of the car year and model and its does most of it for them!

    Well Im sorry but it is, ring them if you want. Company is STS Wheel Alignment and the phone number is 01234 269800, and its the only thing they really do. All the major car dealers in Bedford use them, including BMW, Volvo, Land Rover, SKoda and Chrysler.

    There is a good one in Bedford...costs £60 for a 4 wheel alignment and takes about 20 minutes.

    That will just be where a sticker was on the tyre so that they know what tyre it is easily. Dont worry about that. I see mytyres are now at £102.10!

    Exalto 2’s How long do they last

    Im at 10k and the fronts have about 1mm till they are on the wear bar. I reckon another 1-2k until I need to change which is good really considering I have been hooning it everywhere! The rears are fine though and I reckon I could probably get 30k out of them!
