Does your rear wiper 'wipe' when you select reverse and your auto wipers are 'on'?

Re: Reserve lights I think it's on top of the gearbox, towards the rear. They aren't seperately fused as far as I know.

Price is right for the spec, but as you say your deposit is letting you down. Renault have some 0% offers on at the mo but that ends at the end of this month. Some options prices will be rising too, Recaros being one of them.

Did those headlights not have all the D2S xenon setup for £350!!?? I would have thought they did, as you can pay that price for everything needed without opting for a HID kit.

No Mike, it will simply be X number of weeks from the date the order is submitted. Obviously the car can wait for you within reason due to work commitments etc once it's at the dealer, but you can't delay delivery without delaying ordering unfortunately.

Yep as above, a new ring (!) can be had for about £11 from Ebay. 2 hours (ish) to fit - job done. If you get your head behind the wheels with a torch you will be able to see the ring on each shaft just befoe it disappears into the hub assembly, so you can quiclky inspect them for damage and...

The dash displays are LED's and very very rarely go so I'd discount that at this stage. They might both be linked to the rev counter problem - loose connection. I've never taken a dash off on a Mk2 ph1 so can't help with that, should be some info on here though if you have a search about.

Sorry yeah, I must have misread your original post. The rev counter is a strange one, obviously not getting a feed for some reason - could be a simple loose connection on the rear of the cluster. As for the lights, I suspect they have been taped up due to afault in the system somewhere...

Welcome to the forum :) The fact that your speedo doesn't work could be down to a few reasons. Do all the other dials in the cluster operate correctly? When you do the IGN + Trip trick, do the SERV and airbag lights light up?

Could be the TDC. Often get dirty and need cleaning/changing.

There isn't an ICV on a 182.

ABS rings are on the drive shaft, not in the front disc. ABS rings are in rear discs. Check your ring ;)

:rofl: @ Gaz! Oh and for those that have mentioned it, I will say it again - the Recaro's are yellow as is the rev counter due to the fact that yellow is RenaultSport's brand colour. Hence the dash and seatbelt yellow option ;) I agree it looks strange, but hey - ho :) Good choice...

No probs, just make sure you insulate them well or you'll blow your fuse :)

Immobiliser LED - yep that's right it should extinguish when IGN is on. TDC is above the gearbox, kinda below the battery area yeah. Sounds stupid but have you tried the spare key? Also try disconnecting the battery for a short period if you haven't already done this.

If a fault appears in the braking system (ABS) then the CC will be disabled for safety reasons. If you feel a mild clunk from one of the wheels this will signify a broken ring. The sensors sometimes just need a clean, try that first.

Re: Cup spoiler break light It is known that they can differ. Most people chop the connectors off and connect the wires with spades or similar.

Faulty ABS sensor or ring.

I was about to say, there's more than just the springs that are different.
