No mine isn't an 'M' code, but nearly as bad being a 'BB' one :dapprove:
To be fair, main stream are going to want around that price for you being in the area you are - Aviva wanted £900 from me for the 200!
I'd strongly suggest getting a list of specialists from the back of Max...
Seems very high that, but you've already tried the specialists I would suggest.
I'm in the NW too and pay just over £500 for the 200...oh and I'm not 30...yet ;)
Greenlight use a company called KGM insurance, maybe try getting in touch with them direct?
I'm number 8 Vicky, but thanks for the concern ;)
Yeah I'm up for that Mark!

It's at about 300 miles now.
I was over at the dealers on Saturday and he said I should ignore the 625 limit and just hammer it everywhere! Gets the best out of the engine and the best MPG! :S So I'm not sure what to do now, lol!
To be fair change the pads and the lines and you'll feel an immediate difference.
Discs I'd go for the Brembo Max HC ones as they're what I had. Pad wise I stuck with Mintex and they never let me down, but I'm not a hardened track driver (yet!) ;)
What's the budget Mike?
I upgraded the fluid/discs/pads/lines on mine and it stopped better than OE and cost me probably £250 - £300 all in.
Alot of people said at the time I should have got brembo four pots, could be an option for you?
Do you know what power yours is putting out now then Steve? Did the decat affect the idle as I've read it does?
Mines one week old today and I love it! :approve:
You should really see someone about that problem mate! ;)
Sarah - It's a much more refined car, a much better feel all round. It is not as 'raw' as the 1*2's, but once the power's down it feels equally as quick!
Xenons aren't an option on the 200 mate, the headlights are projectors that come with the dedicated cornering light option. A HID kit can be fitted though with it having the projector lenses.
Re: 2 Drivers + 1 car + 1 insurance cover....can it = both drivers fully comprehensiv
Yeah I know people who do this, one year it's the male as main driver and the next it's the female meaning you both keep your NCB.
Spoiler makes the rear IMO, without it it looks somewhat bare and I didn't want the GT one as that's a tailgate specific - spoiler meaning it could never be changed.
K-Tec now have a spoiler out but didn't have when I originally ordered the 200.
Cup spoiler is loud and in your face, just...
True, hopefully I wont get the urge to bolt anything onto this one :)
Cheers Steve, yours is my inspiration! Love it! :approve:
Thanks Tom, praise indeed!
Quite surprised how well it's being received, seems the 200's looks are growing much the same as the 182's did when originally...
It could be the stalk yeah as that's common between all three items.
I think I have one spare, but it doesn't have front fog option (basic model spec). Send me your address and I can drop it in the mail, will help eliminate whether yours is faulty or not?
The centre console is carbon, hence the apparent colour difference between that and the headunit. It looks far worse in those pics than it does in real life.
Wondered about the RS badge, thought it came with one - but obviously not :dapprove:
If the dials aren't lit too then I doubt it's the earth really. More likely to have popped a fuse as it's the same one for illumination and the sidelight.
Do your front sidelights work?
