It stops the light coming on as the sensor doesn't get dirty with it not actually being in the cat. ;) Should have no ill effects on the engine at all.

Remove the second lambda from the hole in the decat and bung the hole with an old sensor (or similar). Then wrap the sensor in a bag and tywrap it up out of the way leaving it connected to the wiring.

Tracking is about £30.

421 and 428 refer to the profile of the cams. The more wild they are, the less likely that the car will idle without a custom remap.

Generally two hours labour, but the Cam belt has to come off so alot of people put a new belt on just to be on the safe side.

You need mild cams but you'll never get the best/most out of any set without a remap to suit. CatCams seem popular on here and C&B seem to be growing. I went for Schrick which are reputably one of the best, but not the cheapest.

Only by either buying a car the dealer already has, buying one from a cancelled order or buying second hand. The RenaultSport factory closes for the entire month of August which only adds to the delay.

Must be the motor then. It's not going to be easy to get it to open, especially with it being a V! Can you get to the boot trim from inside the car?
