so you think those cars are fast? anyone been on bikes? quickest thing i have been on is a Hayabusa and a Ninja, both get to 60 in less then 3 secs, and go on to 180ish MPH, they are fookin mental, really blew me away
that is what i have been told, from the DVLA? do you ask for it back so to speak? thing is i have had points before and they just sent my license back to me!
hmm, ok say the 6.25 isnt realistic by the sound of things but i can get 6.6X consistently, and on the 6.25 run i really launched instead of dropping it at 2500rpm, i dropped at about 3500/4000. will do some more timing soon and will definilty be at the various 1/4 miling sessions. very curious...
well i shift at 6400 anyway, even though the willy is chipped and can do 6900, there is defo no power after 6400, so i need to shift to 4th for a sub 15sec run? my shifts are very quick so im not bothered about losing time in gear change. in my 0-60 i need to shift twice and still got that 6.25...
just did a couple of test runs in my williams powered 16v using an AP22, its set up for my car, first run i got 0-60 of 6.6 and 14.97 1/4 mile, then i got 0-60 of 6.25:o(got an amazing launch) but 1/4 mile of 15.02 WTF?:confused: on the 15.02 run i bounced it off the limiter in 3rd cos thats...
wkdlad was also there! weather was a bit poor for my liking, good day out though, best part was the drive there on VERY nice country lanes caning it with Adi and then both of us miserably chasing an astra turbo! cant wait to see some pictures, sort em out Col!
well......depends if you want performance or noise, in all fairness the IK makes such a wicked noise on the valvers. also it depends how you drive, if you drive like a granny, Panel filter is prob best for its low down torque, if you cane it everywhere, i would go for IK
still looking mate, but if the AP-22 times are anything to go by, the 172 shouldnt be much of a problem........0-100 in 16.5secs anyone?;)
but well pleased with the VR6 result, much better then i thought it would be, thought it would be level to 60 then he would f**k off, looking good so far...
ha ha, glen chill the f**k out mate, your car is about looks but can still hold its own in speed terms no doubt about it. anyways, the VR6 has now been raced and results are posted, good results;)
well.......the clio can walk away with alot of pride from this battle, my williams powered 16V with Hill Power chip, De-cat and full system exhaust and modified air-box, against my mates 2.9 V6, with flowed throttle head, chip and exhaust(cat still on). his was rolling roaded at 205BHP and...
the settings are,
mass=1100kg.
CdA= 0.790
roll resistance 0.030
tilt factor=0.009
roll factor=0.011
smoothing=0.004
is that what you had Rhys? gonna change them to the settings given on the cliosport homepage now cos that mass seems a little high?
well when khany was in the car with his stop watch he got 15.9 0-100, the ap-22 showed 17.8 or somat so just shows how far out the stopwatch thing can be!
so should i set it to higher then .11? adi was running with it aswell and was getting around the 7s, dipping under in to the 6s on good starts and that is what his car does, if anything it is faster then that so i reckon the settings are right. basically his car has been timed at 6.6 to sixty...
we should be put next thursday again paul if you fancy it? was quite a good night really, we didnt saty at the cruise for long, just went to industrial estate and played with the AP22, got some 0-60 times etc. good fun, you coming on thursday then?
Adi what are the settings? this is the only thing i question, it has been taken straight from PADDY like this, i didnt touch the settings so paddy will know what the settings are if he touched them
hmmmm, motor world own brand i thought, very cheap but that will probably show in quality of rim. personally i wouldnt bother until something else comes along cos at the end of the day alloys make or break a car
you ready boys and girls?;)

had a bit of fun with Adi tonight, loads of off the line races and a few when rolling, there was really not alot in it. was down to who got the better start etc. reckon i could do with a few 1/4 mile runs tho! also, check the ap-22 times on the other page

not too impressed but it aint bad, gonna do some more now, best i got was 6.55 0-60 but it was slightly downhill, and 7.15 up the same road.
still not actually fixed, i just know what the problem is! Carlos you need to be looking out for a very thin red wire that runs over the starter motor but under the heat shield if it is infact the same problem as mine
