well said barry. And very true! Over a distance of 40 miles, if you maintain an average 70mph instead of 60mph you will arrive about 5/6 mins earlier. Not really worth it when you think about how stressed you are when you get out of the car is it?

I already have nice clear side repeaters instead of those fugly orange things, but my Phase 1 has them mounted on a 16v badge. What Id like ideally is to have them mounted on no badge at all, like my mates phase 2.(which has 16v in the bump strip - but I dont want that either) How easy is it...

I usually polish mine twice - cant do any harm. Plus it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside when you do a good job and you can see your face in it!!

LOL :-) when you say high speeds I presume you mean the legal maximum of 70mph on a motorway ;-) Or is it on one of those private roads I keep reading about!! Lets not forget that our phase 1s arent the most aerodynamic of cars...check your rear window seals, see if anythings floating loose...
