Its all relative theres very good and very bad examples of both about and plenty of variations in between
Both very fun cars to drive with excellent driving position
Usually you get what you pay for these days as there are some very 'tired' examples around thankfully mine is one of the...
I'd say about -65mm on the front Tom mine are on now with my 16's and 205/40's
the rear shocks won't make any difference apart from the quality of the part compared to what your currently using, all movement is in the rear bar
As winston says wind them down check full lock then adjust to...
New they're about £120 each plus VAT from either reno or K-tec then you've got the powdercoating on top of that at say £160
Nowhere sells them 'cheap' as they're so sought after, best bet is to try and get some 2nd hand then refurb but the queue of people wanting them is always huge so good...
Congratulations and commiserations mate
You'll be gutted to see her go as she was immaculate but its the right decision under the circumstances
Did you take a part ex ? if not what you looking to get?
Spending that cash will be very enjoyable! happy hunting :)
^ 'Bettablast' up here in sunny newcastle upon tyne they only did the refurb/colour change
The price to remove and refit tyres was from a local garage on a sunday when the boss wasn't in ;)
Mine are 172 Cup turinis powder coated steell grey which is near enough the trophy colour
'Speedline Turini's' are no differnent to the 172 Cup wheels expect they have the 'Speedline' logo text on the rim
Trophy wheels have the logo text on 172 Cups didn't
Might be as simple as a loose connection or a corroded wire
IMO wait till you get the car and take the top dash off and have a look it'll only take 2 mins, its held on by 5 screws
If you walked into a reno dealer with £11,000 in your pocket i'm sure you could walk away with a new 182 today
A friend of mine agreed a main dealer price of £11,600 brand new without a part ex and that was over 6 months ago before the pressure was building to sell the stocks of current...
I'd say have a look on www.pistonheads.com in the classifieds as they're all private sellers there so on the whole prices are fairly realistic compared to autotrader where there's too many dealers trying to sell cars for make believe prices
What plate is it on 54 or 05?
I'd say £10,000 private
If you're defo going to sell make sure you get rid of it before the new Renaultsport Clio comes out (i think thats in the new year, others on here will confirm) as that'll really dent the second hand value
A breaker will offer you probs £200 tops for a damaged valver
Breaking it yourself you should get approx £1000 IMO for a standard ish car, more if it has uprated parts
Wheres about ru? i'm sure there would be numerous people on here who'd gladly go and look at a car with you as theres loads of knowledgable valver and williams owners on here
