I think they do it on an exchange basis, if they modded yours the car would off the road for a while I rekon.

I can understand how someone would want to swap their Cup for a 172 but it will cost too much I rekon and wont be worth it the hassle.

Cant seem them being more sought after since silver is the most common 172 colour and ive got a feeling that ppl who will seak out Cups in a few years will be looking for the original colour.

Its down to personal choice, silver will be more sought after for some ppl and blue for others. But to say they will be worth more is complete and utter tripe. Just like for 172s some ppl will pay more for a red one over say a black one but then some ppl might do the opposite.

Yeah but they will be able to tell you have swapped the ECU, marks on the ECU box/bolts/screws try and be very very careful when swapping it.

No customer services said "they are not technically trained" i.e the customer service ppl NOT R SPORT who are a approved Renault garage and im sure know what they are doing better than most Renault garages when 172s are concerned!

I had a loud exhaust on my last car didnt even have a de-cat and really did spoil the enjoyment of the car when I drove it on long journeys. I wouldnt even fit a magnex if I was doing 26 k a year! Never mind a race system with no centre silencer and a de-cat LOL
