yeh you can defo get quadro on laptops. Quadros as said will be better for autocad, i used to work for a major construction company and they're a lot better supported....as said lol!

ver east to do the ram...hdd is easyish if your not scared of unscrewing the whole thing. tbh your best bet would be to riung dell and ask them how you unscrew it all etc and they'll help your though it...if your scared that is

no power at all? you mean it doesn't have an ac adapter.... well they're hard to come buy unless they're laptop drive external ones. there are plenty about, but to hit 250gig you prob need a WD one. You can buy them in most places.

i manage a number of them where i'm working and tbh they're good but i wouldn't have one. For my needs iphone is better, i don't have a BES for my personal email account though....

yeh normally it's part of other codec packs. If you are going to install it, uninstall k-lite first, reboot, then install ffshow.

i had a really bad experience with k-lite, often come with trojans and virus's...that was a while ago though, might give them a shot.

i'm with orange and they offer me an upgrade after 6 months on any contract for a £50 fee which isn't bad. Ring up again and speak with some1 else as they might change their mind. otherwise SE warranty would be the way to go, or just get a replacement part off the bay.

hmm the workaround i got off the cccp forums is a bit lame.. you open up a 32bit app like media player classic and browse to files in there and it generates the thumbnails which persists in explorer once you quit. it works anyuway....cheers.

Guys which ones do you use and do they display thumbnails in explorer? i've used CCCP (combined comunnity codec pack) forever and it works fine but no thumbnails, looking for good alternatives.

i've been wityh lovefilm for years. yes they're good, do what they advertise, just don't expect to get every single latest title immediately.

why not do it yourself...aquire a program called erd commander, if you can't get it off with that, you could try otherprogs maybe like kill disk image analyser and stuff?

does your psu even have pci express pwer supply? i had a dell and it didn't....?

perhaps you guys are installing the 32bit drivers? try using the 64 bit drivers instead of the 32bit ones, you can find them at www.nvidia.com hope this helps.
