I test drove an Astra Coupe Turbo round Milbrook last year, very rapid car but possibly not quite as quick as my 172 but close. Hope you enjoy it and Im sure with a chip they can go much quicker than a 172.
I just bought a Rockford Fosgate Punch Z 12" Sub, Enclosure, Punch 150S Amp and wiring kit from Car Audio Direct for £230 delivered.
Am in the process of starting a boot install so hopefully it will be finished in the next few weeks.
I cant believe it! I never win anything and has made a crap week into a great weekend.
Also pleased to win becuase my dad was involved in a bad car accident yesterday. Guy in a Nova (no jokes please) just pulled out infront of my dad, who hit him spinning him around and more than likely...

Yogi - Cheers for the info, it would have been good 2 hours ago for me to have looked here! I have managed to get this in through the bonnet release grommet with only removing the power steering reservoir!
Pain in the arse of a job though which ever way you do it! With regards to amp location...
Help! I am going to buy an Amp and Sub to go with my exsisting setup in my MK2 172 but am at a loss of how to get power from my engine bay to the boot.
So who else has managed this and can give me some hints and tips on how to get the power to the boot?
Cheers

I use Tesco and have since I owned my first car at 19 and they are always the cheapest, even with mods.
Im 22, 3 years NCB, MK postcode with a modded 172 and it costs me about £1300 Fully Comp.

Ive never had any probs with Wicked Wheels but they work by selling the franchise name to people who then work for them. Ring their head office and complain!

Went to order my Tarox G88 discs (£189 including delivery and VAT) and Ferodo pads today and found out that Ferodo, Mintex and Tarox are still developing them for the MKII 172....I was well pi$$ed off with that!
