Clio 172 Import, How Long Did Yours Take To Arrive

My car is going on Autotrader for sale on Saturday, and i am going to be ordering a Silver Mk2 172, but i ideally need it by Monday 7/10/02, just wondering how long your imported 172s took and where from?? as i have heard of some people getting them in the space of two weeks, but others waiting anything up to 14 weeks for one, and at the moment i cant find anywhere with one in stock? Any help much appreciated! Ive been trying:

I waited 11 months, ordered a mk1 and got a mk2. It was worth the wait though.(and the wife used to accuse me of having no patience ?).

They usually have a few 172s in stock as they sell like hot cakes, so they have a good turn over there!

Im in north wales, but i work in Liverpool, so having a car is an absoloute must!, but i dont want to be waiting for the 172 and spending money on hire cars. So i am prepared to travel a long distance in order to get one, thanks for all the help people, keep it coming in,

2 weeks Motorpoint Derby, they needed to get it registered etc as they were new in, other wise less than a week.

Try Fords of Winsford (nothing to do with Ford cars)(about half an hour from Liverpool, not far from Northwich) http://www.fow.co.uk/ a member here Simon Wilcox used to work for them, but he works at a BMW dealer in Liverpool now, perhaps he might be able to help you as he would know the guys at Winsford.

i went there a couple of weeks back thanks, they had nothing there, only a nackered out old 172 Mk1, in a complete state for £9500.

I waited 8 months with Jamjar to get one from Holland. Also ordered a MK1 and got a MK2 but I was happy with that!
