You have to be over 25 for the 3rd P&T driving other cars. I am 22 and I cant, also my excess in about £500 but they were the cheapest after my mods and this is the 3rd year of being insured with them.

Paddy - I have to say the ride isnt much worse after lowering and lower profile tyres and even my brother didnt notice much difference. The car handles so much better although having lower profile tyres on does mean it tramlines slightly more but nothing I cant adjust to. A few good things...

Geordie - Sounds like you had a bad experience or the guy in your area didnt know what he was doing. I have recommended friends and know lots of people who had only good things to say about them. As with everything there are always a few bad reports.

I can vouch for Wicked Wheels as they refurbed 2 of my wheels on my Fiesta Zetec-S and all four of my mates Rover (he uses the kirbs to direct him ). Think it came to £50 or £60 per wheel although we got a discount becuase he had a days work out of us! I am currently trying to get Renault UK...

Not sure about pubs in the area that have accomodation, although if you get in touch with Gemma at Palmersport she had a list of some. If not there is a Travelodge just outside of Bedford on the way to the M1?

I have had this checked out by the dealer and they reset my ECU....no change. I agree with what Ben says about idling but mine used to never start from cold in the mornings after it has been sat all night. So I tried letting the engine idle for around 30 seconds when I got home one...

Mines done 12500 miles now and still feels a little tight although a lot quicker now than when it was new. It didnt feel any quicker after the 12000 miles service though!

No its Giles. Those P1s are quick.....I had a play with one on the A3 today but he pulled away in every gear but I caught him up when he could stuck behind traffic!

I think people that do this sort of thing should be taken somewhere publicaly, say Trafalgar Square, hung up and then let the public loose on them. They can use any means neccessary to inflict damage and pain to them. My personal choice would be a baseball bat combined with a few choice blows...
