V&G Crash repairs in SE London (nr Dartford tunnel) they do a superb job...but you pay for it. Specialise in the more expensive cars, did a great job on my dads DB7s and all his other cars. Mines also going in shortly..

Yeah they do sound great for 1.2s with them on, and at 4k the noise changes to something worth shouting about..you wont be disappointed!
Cheers John and Rob ill try and follow those instructions, or ill just saw the b**ch off!!

Where are the clips David? looking forward to seeing pics!
stee69 no ones gone for that 4inch one so will be interesting to see..the exhaust isnt covered by the warranty so they should ignore it, they didnt mention mine when it went in for a service.

Trying to remove the top grille on my Extreme..i can only see the two rubber type screws which seem to attach it but they wont come off, should i be looking somewhere else.. has anyone got an engine pic of a non-172 new clio?
Cheers

Was just talking to Tom about it..if the clio weighed around 800kg it would have approx 218bhp/ton, a hefty increase over a Clio Cups 170ish per ton. However, as mentioned torques the problem and i would agree with Paul, strap on a turbo, you wouldnt be the first by a long shot so shouldnt be...
Here we go..all im saying is that ive seen many exhausts being made, taken them apart etc for motorsport so i tend to know the ins and outs and am just passing on the facts, in reality i couldnt give two shiny ones in what anyone here buys!
Clearly we think differently, build quality is one of...
Yeah you will, tyres work with the suspension and are therfore part of it so smaller profile tyres will effect ride and handling. Though to be fair on the road you may not be able to tell the difference apart from the bigger tyre bills of course..

Powerflow arent very good as their universal pipes are welded together (by spotty mechanic apprentices) to fit onto your car, if anything BHP/torque will be lost. I see no point in using them when there is a plethora of manufacturers who make systems for the 172.

The exhaust isnt covered on the warranty Mikey boy so they dont give a shiney one..
I asked while i was there yozza, it was there standard charges which were the heavy ones, and so were unavoidable

Well before 5 oclock yesterday i would of typed out a glowing report of my clios first service, i was offered a lift into work after i dropped it in, and they phoned me up a couple of times during the day to tell me what they were up to. By 2 oclock i was amazed by the fact they were finished...
Yeah, youre bound to have a few offs which will get them a bit buggered anyway with all the grit and crap, not worth the £50+
Happy tracking! Get down Brands some time so i can chase you in the 1.2 ;)
