The immediate difference is the hub bolt spacings. To fit Cup shockers you would need to fit Cup hubs too.

It's a 172 with 182 alloys and the Cup splitter and spoiler fitted. Looks tidy and not bad priced around £5k.

The work involved in the swap would be immense, but if you're dedicated enough then sure it can be done. Just make sure you get the loom from the donor vehicle.

I'd check all earths first, especially the main one from the battery to the chassis. Check the one that is bolted to the engine too. Sounds too major for a simple 'reset' to have any effect.

Damper rate will be wrong, Spring rate will be wrong, and there's a good chance the hub bolt holes will be wrong too. Physically they are the same type/place of fitment though.

Esentially yes, I think there is a slight difference in the ratios but nothing that would prevent fitment. Just ensure the buyer doesn't own a Cup as it wont have the speedo pick up in your box.

Nah there's two versions, 'tuner list' (pre 2005) and 'update list' (post 2005). They aren't interchangeable as the loom was slightly different. Obviously there are fewer 182's 2005> so the head units are harder to come by.

Expect around £40 - £50 if it's got the code. Update list ones are slightly more expensive as they're rarer.

I have a 2gig USB flash drive which would more than cover my music, my only issue is that whenever I select 'export library' it asks for a blank CD to be inserted. Can I use a different storage device such as a flash? All (I think) of the music is ripped from my CD collection.

No cup suspension, car sits higher. Silver wheels, anthracite wheels come with the suspension package. No front cup splitter and doesn't look to have the rear one either.
