Welcome aboard :)
As for your problem, well I have heard of this before but I am not entirely sure of the fix.
Providing you have your code I think the first thing I'd be tempted to do is disconnect the unit and see if it 'self resets'.
There is a FAQ guide on here relating to the head...
I'm sure that was the reg! You were on the M65 heading East as I was heading West about 10.15 this morning near Blackburn.
I know the car but can't think who it is!
Can I ask, I booked 2 x 15 minute slots under the 'general' track time, is this possible to be transferred to ClioSport's time?
I am a complete novice though, so would it be best left as it is as I selected novice from the drop down menu.
Are the novice sessions as you mention above?
You cannot immobilise the alarm as this would invalidate your insurance ;)
You can, however, switch off the interior sensors which leaves the rest of the car armed.

It shouldn't be wired to the stereo as far as I know, but cannot think of a reason it would be unless the alarm had been disconnected (due to it being faulty) and a permanent feed then taken to the LED so it flashed constantly.
I would be tempted to take these cables out of the stereo loom...
Ok, why has the aeriel cable been cut, was it damaged in some way?
Secondly, if the cable(s) have been cut and then just taped back up, do you have no way of permanently joining them, like a connector or a thru-crimp?
Yeah it just stayed seated exactly where it was, didn't even move which was good.
Although I think, for the sake of it, the next time I have the plenum off I will invest in a PTFE gasket.
Ah the joys of being old... :o
But on a serious note, those quotes seem ridiculous, what's your occupation as that can sometimes have a massive bearing on risk factor?
How many miles a year?
Is the car garaged, etc etc...?
There's so many factors to take into account, not just your age...
Well, at least I think it's grease anyway. On the passenger side silver seatbelt, looks like some inept fool has trapped the belt in the door and thus there are a few spots of grease on it!
Any wonder cures people or is it new belt time? :dapprove:
Cheers!
The three beeps means you have armed the car too soon after switching it off and closing the doors. The ECU hasn't had chance to 'settle', try leaving it 1 or 2 seconds before arming after closing the door and it shouldn't beep.
As for MPG well I can get high fourties too but often average 30...
