Jack the front of the car up, get it on stands and then get a +ve feed from another battery onto the starter motor. This is linked directly to the battery of your car and should provide enough power to open the doors.
Make sure you also connect the -ve of the second battery to your chassis...
Yup sounds like an import.
Will still have the immobiliser and RAID but no locking bolts, alarm or window etching.
Be warned if it's insured as a UK car your insurance may be invalid without a Cat 1 Alarm!!
Hi Dan,
No that patch lead will not work with the adaptor that I listed earlier on as they are of a different make and are not compatible.
If you buy an AutoLeads adaptor then you need an AutoLeads patch and the same goes for Connects2.
Does your original head unit say Update list or...
Yep the leads you have are for completely the wrong cars Renault Clio upto 06 / 1998. If your car is an 05 plate then it's March 2005> and you need the newer adaptor.

What further info do you require?
Obviously I didn't catch the reg or anything but you were sat on the bridge over the M6 North at about 2.30pm around Knutsford/Cheshire area I guess?
Anyone going to own up??
Agreed, this is an interesting read though.
I used both the online quote system and rang my dealer direct, both came back with 36k/3 years for the Aux so I had it done.
Try putting a 3yr/36k service in to the Renault online service booking form. This WILL quote you for the Aux belt.
AFAIK it has been mentioned on here (edde/fred??) that it was originally 5 years. Renault suffered alot of failures and resulting warranty claims. This was then amended to 3...
