Both machines are rdp enabled as far as I can tell. Typing the names of the respective machine in either PC and trying to connect brings up an error message stating that the PC cannot be found. As for file sharing, can you expand a little please? :)

I have just added a new PC upstairs and all my pictures/documents etc are on the old PC downstairs. Thay are both connected wirelessly but how do I go about accessing one PC from the other? Is this even possible? Old PC is XP sp2 and new PC is Vista if that's of any relevance?

It's a brand new Dell system Mike, I will check out the exact details when I get home tonight.

I just need a digital output so I can link the PC to my Tv. Resolution wise there's no specifics just something which is decent, kinda middle of the road. Budget wise I'd spend £50.

I've had a quick look at Maplins yeah, will give it another go. Chris, you can do it as they sell the leads on eBay. I don't think the TV has a PC input but I'll have to double-check. I'll put up a link to the TV, 2 minutes.

Bad earth/corroded connections - easily fixed. 172/182's are great little cars and are very highly specced for a hot hatch. Most (if not all) the features are listed above. Don't listen to the haters, all cars suffer from issues.

Lol, took me best part of two days once on a 7 year old 1.2 that had never had them removed before! As you say, once the 6mm starts slipping it's a slippery road to doom! Ended up cutting the top mount off and buying a new one from Renault.

It can re-synch the keys. There is a procedure which I forget at present but I think if you have the key in the ignition and it turned on, then press the door lock button for several seconds it should then re-synch if you press the key button. I know this works for the Lagunas anyway.

Mint 172. But, I thought you were selling the 172 for more room/practicality etc?
