Ignition on once (don't start the car), straight back off close the door and arm it. It should arm then beep once to confirm. This will only disarm the sensor until next time you deactivate the alarm. Just so you know that will deactivate all the door sensors, not just the bonnet. 1 flash...

The spacing has to be legal, the font legal and there NEEDS to be an 11mm border all the way round the lettering. The size of the plate is dependant on your reg ultimately, for example 1 DA would fit on a tiny plate whilst maintaining the legal requirements, where as a reg with more digits...

It isn't, it has changed as already stated. The handbook you refer to is out of date, AUX belt is 36k/3years and the CAM belt is 72k/5years.

Nah mate I removed them on my 1.2 numerous times without issue, but these on the RB just wont budge! There's no screws holding them on.

Gutting mate but yeah as stated above the Aux belt is 36k/3years. Obviously if you took it to the Renault dealer and they didn't change it then the error is on their part. Good luck in getting it sorted :)

Apologies for the bump... Is the location of the TDC sensor down the nearside of the engine, above the gearbox?
