I saw those too and to be honest the finished article does look a better finish, but if they fit anywhere near as bad as those on the demo car then I'll be sending them back without a doubt!
It's criminal damage mate, I doubt you've got a leg to stand on to be honest as the Police were called etc etc.
Don't pay it and you'll end up in a small claims court no doubt!

As for the lamps, no you wouldn't need to upgrade the ballast as it's the lamp that depicts the colour emitted.
Ignition on once (don't start the car), straight back off close the door and arm it.
It should arm then beep once to confirm.
This will only disarm the sensor until next time you deactivate the alarm.
Just so you know that will deactivate all the door sensors, not just the bonnet. 1 flash...
The spacing has to be legal, the font legal and there NEEDS to be an 11mm border all the way round the lettering.
The size of the plate is dependant on your reg ultimately, for example 1 DA would fit on a tiny plate whilst maintaining the legal requirements, where as a reg with more digits...

Yeah I have tried that also, seems to make no difference, just really don't want to resort to using a screwdriver or similar as I want no damage! :dapprove:
Gutting mate but yeah as stated above the Aux belt is 36k/3years. Obviously if you took it to the Renault dealer and they didn't change it then the error is on their part.
