Yeah that's what I did Ali, the only 'visible' wires are the ones to the surround sound which are tiny and fairly well concealed.

Decent panel filter, decent exhaust and a decat. Tie those with a remap and you'll feel the benefits.

K-Tec one for me as the join on Streamline's would piss me off. Having said that though they are meant to be superior quality, so who knows!

You can make wires disappear ya know and still end up with a pretty decent install...

Many thanks Henry, yes it's the boot tie that attaches the boot to the hub (essentially). Doubt Renault will be open tomorrow though thinking about it so I'll have to have a nosey at the local motorfactors.

Outer (hub) CV circlip part number needed if possible please for a 182? Do Renault sell these separately or is it a new boot-kit job? Oh and the grease, would that come in the kit too? Cheers! :)

So the battery light is on now, permenantly? Have you got the means to check the output on the battery? ie a voltmeter? Can you check that the Aux belt is still intact and inplace? Personally I'd disconnect the battery too, just to try and reset the ECU, but before you do this ensure...

Bad earth possibly, check the main -ve connection on the battery trerminals and where it is bolted to the chassis. Have you had a nosey about under the bonnet for signs of water etc?

Justy learn to support the hub with bricks/jack etc whilst you manouver it. If you're aware of the risks take precautions to prevent it :) Failing that, pay someone local ;)

For that value, I'd say it's a risk yeah. I wouldn't spend £200+ on a voucher that I couldn't see and feel to check over before I paid for it. You'd have no idea if there's any special terms & conditions imposed on the redemption of it.

What payment method is it, direct debit? If so cancel it with your bank in the morning. Tell DL you posted it off (some) time ago. Give them your previous insurers name and policy number and they can check on claims, NCB etc etc.

There is sign of previous dampness under the rear bench, some small areas of mold so the rear arches are a good shout!
