Thanks once agin for the info, will have a look this weekend, although my mum is pretty certain it's coming in at the rear of the cabin as opposed to the front.
Lewis, yeah that's the correct bulb exactly the same as the one I have.
As for checking, it's just a matter of popping the holder out of the bumper and giving it the once over.
Clean the contacts and see if that helps, if not then check the wiring. Often this can rot and fail. That should...
That Vee has been forsale a few weeks now, it's not just in.
Oh and I doubt very much that you'll be allowed to test drive it, most will insist that you're atleast 21, perhaps even 25 for that!
I have the CAN-Bus one, £95 I think it was!
2005 models onwards benefitted from a little alteration to the H/U wiring and thus rendering the older adaptors useless.
It's down to corrosion, it's a common fault. You need to pop the bulb holder out of the bumper and clean up the contacts a little.
Failing that it's probably time for a new unit completely! :)
Well plural actually so footwells ;)
On my mum's Dynamique she has today noticed a nice little puddle in the drivers side rear footwell.
I have just been round and found that the drivers side front footwell is soaked also. I've had the scuttle off, carpets out, rear bench removed, checked...
:S
Either way, I'd prefer a Cat to a decat.
As for gains, minimal as already said, without spending £££'s on a N/A car you'll never see a massive increase.
