Have you checked all the fuses in the engine bay too? Clutching at straws really but to be honest it sounds like a UCH problem which will be expensive! Are there any faults stored in the dash?
You wont 'lose' anything as it's all in your original ECU anyway but i doubt very much that the new ECU will be plug and play. I'm sure they're 'locked' to one vehicle and as such would need unlocking to swap to your car.
Jeremy Townsend himself has been on here and stated there will be no future Mk3 RenaultSport Clio V6.
They actually lost money on the Mk2's from memory as they were all hand built to order.
Yeah it's easy. Turn it inside out and with the new supplied ty-wrap secure it round the collar of the gear lever (in the correct position obviously). Then fold the gaitor down so it's turned back the right way, position and clip into place carefully.
Job done, 10 mins max if you struggle!
Well for any warranty to be valid it has to be 12k or 12 months. Even if the car isn't used much parts will still perish whilst stood and as such will still need replacing at the specified intervals.
Also there is only a 1 month/1000 mile tolerance on the service intervals.
It's irrelevant, you pay your excess, the third party pays their excess and both claims are settled.
You both lose 2 years NCB and have to declare the fault claim for three years.
I know how you feel Andy, I looked at Cup's when I was in the market. IMHO the extra premium a FF demands is well worth it for the leather/xenons/cc etc etc and those are just the major things! If you plan on continuing to spend £££'s on making yours more like a FF then I'd definitely change...
Mine are! :rasp:
Oh and the No plate lamp holders are quite expensive, I looked them up a few weeks ago... don't have the P/N to hand though at present.
