I'm 99% sure it's because the LED is polarized.
My suggestion would be to turn the LED round in the courtesy light then see if it only works with the doors and not with the switch.
As a rule the Cup's came with the splitter standard and the non-cup's had to have the splitter cup pack added as you correctly state.
They are an expensive piece of plastic at circa £140- £170 from the dealers, although they were often forgotten to be fitted and people had to chase the...
The airbag computer does officially need replacing yes, however as I understand it there is someone on Ebay from Germany who offers a mail order resetting service. From memory it's about £60 so have a search about mate.
Well, to give away all my secrets ;) I am wanting to wire in some kind of relay/timer circuit so that when you remotely unlock the car the sidelights are activated. Only for a specific time obviously, not on constantly.
Where do the indicators pick up their feed from to flash on unlocking...

Also, if possible the same info for the feed to the sidelights and/or headlights.
Any wiring...
Front arches are plastic...
As for the rears, I don't know of anyone that's done it, usually they just bin the liners and this solves the rubbing issues.

Cons;

Not roadworthy, most FC policies do not cover your car if the CAT is removed
It will fail it's MOT so will need swapping back in due course (unless you...
It's probably screwed your PAS pump mate, this was covered a few weeks back but in that case it was water! I'll do a quick search and see what I can find.
Did you remove the engine cover because if you didn't then yes it was probably the PAS you topped up!
You need to remove the engine cover to access the brake fluid reservoir.
