Well someone posted a turbo 172 a while ago, but it appeard to have no intercooler
I agree with mike, i guess you can go to far, if you get TBs and other mods youll get 230bhp anyway.
Similar thing happened to me and my dad, we had an E36 M3 Cab chasing us when we had the DB7, my dad was throttling back but we still hit over 160mph and the E36 was up are arse. At the lights my dad wound his window down to call the Beemer driver a dick but before he spoke the driver said...
A performance hatchback should be around the 1000kg mark. IMO anyway.
I dont know much about turbos but i dont see why it wouldnt be possible, if it is essenitally the same engine. I guess the meganes engine will be uprated to something closer to the 172, which begs the question how much BHP...
I had a gimp in a westcoast saxo (it had american stripes instead of a VTR badge?) rolling back and forth due to his bad clutch control, i had my handbrake on and still reacted quicker and gave him a beating in my wonder 1.2!
Most fat director types just dont know that the fast clios exist id...
lol youre right it doesnt make any sense, a turbo coupe does 0-60 in about 6 secs so its hardly slow. As long as he likes it though fair play, he must get a lot of satisfaction from making something that quick from a rover coupe.
Id expect so. What are they made out of? The key to an exhaust is perfect mandrel bent pipework and the general construction and joining has to be good, which gives better flow and so more BHP. Ideally you will want to find out the production process.
I secretly (not anymore!) love the idea of the Focus RS but need a drive, i havent seen any on the road yet, let alone dealerships! Do you know what the waiting list is? Im guessing theres no demos..at least in the south east.
With understeer you can back off and youre safe, oversteer you have to correct. By and large the normal driver wont panic in an understeer situation, so have to agree with KDF.
Though depends what mikey16vclio meant by better.
