05 plate 32k on the clock. Standard car bar a few minor cosmetic mods.

You need to run two wires from each visor to the central courtesy light. There is two +ve feeds at the light and a -ve. Make sure you connect the visors onto the +ve feed that is permanently live, ie not just when the doors are opened! ;)

No, the ECU is electrical as is the loom. It's not part of the engine mechanics or running gear :cool: Back on topic, it does sound, as Has says, like the loom issue which is quite common.

About £600 from memory, without fitting/programming etc. What's the issues?

Ballasts are hard to come by and pricey from Renault! May be better off buying a complete new headlight (£180ish) from Matt Black.

Glove box is part of the lower dash so cannot be removed separately.

Well got the phone call today, the repair has been approved! :approve: New seat back has been ordered, just to wait for it to arrive now! First class service there Renault, can't fault it! :D

In the main car park all this week. An 05 plate Trophy parked right at the back out of the way, very wise, and an 04 plate Arctic 182 parked with the masses! I was in my RB working on the floodlights! lol! :cool: No stickers on either car though :dapprove: Anyone on here per chance?

Yeah you need a HU specific adaptor for your Clio. Can be had from Halfords or similar mate.

The rear numberplate isn't a double end tubular, it's a single contact bayonet cap.

It's in the fuse box, at the end of the dash. Although it does interior courtesy light and radio too iirc so I think you'd know if it had blown? Take the lighter out and check the plug hasn't worked loose.

my bad :o but I thought you'd need the immobiliser/receiver etc etc... if you swapped an ECU over? Or am I talking bollox? ;)

Can't mate, they are 'locked' to the car and cannot be reprogrammed.

ECU could simply be faulty. It may have got water in it? What's this diagnosis based on? Oh and they aint cheap no!

A couple of mine failed, I returned them and they were replaced FOC! Can't say fairer than that really! Only real issue was numberplate light which failed and was exchanged twice. Now discontinued! lol!
