Yes, it's one of two things;
Either your rear light cluster connections are corroded giving a bad earth or your rear earth point on the chassis for the clusters is corroded/loose.
Check both, clean and tighten as needed.
Exactly ^^^ i tested mine by unplugging it before I went to the extreme of removing it completely. I disconnected it from the airbox etc and found that it ran shite when cold! Contrary to popular belief the car is mapped with the AV in place so removal will lose you torque.
Don't bother with the 4-2-1 unless you're going down the K-Tec route.
Personally I'd add a panel filter keeping the OE airbox, then decat it and add a decent aftermarket exhaust. Should free up things a little :)
I would say, Ballonic, that the first thing to check would be the stalk. Is it still engaging correctly?
Then for both check the relays providing fuses are still intact.
The road just outside Asda is a long sweeping wide bend and it's a quiet road so my guess is that too much speed, wet road and a kerb means a close call with a lamp post! ;)
Spanner indeed!
Different colour, different pattern and as said the doorcards wont match the dash profile in a mk2 172 or 182.
The Renault Sport logo is coloured too iirc?
Spotted this last night whilst at the Asda in Colne.
Apologies for the crap phone pics but it was dark and the police were watching! ;)

It was basically just off the road, across the pavement and balanced on the dividing wall into the Asda carpark. Looked fair...
I can read perfectly fine thanks, I was merely offering advice as to the legalities of fitting such a kit... :rolleyes:
Maybe if you said why you didn't need them to be road legal (!) we wouldn't have bothered.
