Right, done it and it's all back together! Phew! Hardest bit was getting that top cover off but in the end with a bit of persuasion it did just pull off! Cheers for the help guys :)

On a 182, I've got all the bolts and fixings out etc but I now need to separate the top 'cover' from the remainder of the bracket so I can remove it from the bay. It looks like it should just slide/pull off but doesn't! Anyone any ideas please? Cheers!

From memory, the headlight washers only work on the 1*2's when the headlights are on. There is a 5 second delay also, all controlled by the UCH.

There's a few from Lancashire way, I'm over near Burnley myself so East Lancs. Bought my 182 from Cleveleys though! :)

Go to the car, press and hold your key fob for (i think it's 5 secs) then try unlocking/locking the car. Walk away and see if it's extended the range.

Door card off, remove 2 nuts of the locating pins and unclip the linkage to the door opener. Remove handle and fit new one. Be careful with the clips though as they often break. Refit door card, job done! :) 15 mins tops! *edit* Inside or outside? That info is for outside one.

Just picked mine up today, so here's the part number if anyone needs it for replacement. 8200067223 Plan on strengthening mine before I fit it otherwise it'll only snap again :dapprove:
