I wasn't doubting that it worked, did you have the ignition switched off? ;) I merely meant that there is no wiring for the toxic fume sensor under the passenger seat :)
These only apply to 2005+ Clio's. Renault changed the wiring meaning the £30/£40 adaptors are useless in the newer Clio's!
I've just fitted one to mine.
the toxic fume warning light has nothing to do with the wiring under the seat. All that's under there is the airbag/pretensioner wiring. The toxic fume light indicates the Lamba sensor/Oxygen sensor is faulty.
Ah I see cheers guys, never seen the newer 1.2's! It's an 04 plate so that would explain a few things.
V5 show 1149cc and it's silver etc so that's all correct.
Will have a look under the carpet.
Now the car in question is meant to be a 1.2 16v. I've just looked under the bonnet and I'm fairly certain this is a 1.4/1.6 engine! Can anyone in 'the know' please confirm my suspicions!?
We have also noted that the VIN on the V5 doesn't match the one on the door pillar and screen...
lol, there's another one just showed up in my town since I bought mine, he's not on here yet though!
I work in Burnley Anni from 8am to 4.30pm so am on the M65 heading to/from Colne for 20mins either side of those times. :)
mine's the rear right one Anni ;)
RB can look many different shades dependant on the lighting. I find artificial light as in carparks etc gives a good effect :)
