    dash board lights flickering

on the 182 it's likely to be the brake pedal switch, although i think that throws up the Serv, ESP and possibly ABS lights.

Head Unit and Stalk Adapter Questions

James, my adapator is now fitted and fully functional. The dash does not need removing as Ollie said above. The unit just slots in (the limited space) behind the headunit. It allows full function of the steering controls and on the head up display it displays the HU brand, in my case Sony...

    dash board lights flickering

check the brake fluid level, if it's low also check brake pads for ware. Service light will be the connector under passenger seat, check this and tighten if needed. Wiggle the wires to see if the light comes on/goes off.

    gear gaitor, sport!

It's the one out of a 182 mate, so it's 'leather', not sure on colour I can check though. The clip broken is at the front but it can be secured with a little imagination. :) It's yours for £5 posted tomorrow if you want it?

    -----> Help plz <-----

Then it's not the fuse, as they're both on the same one. It must be a local problem to that headlight. Have you checked the contacts within the lamp holder? Also try swapping lamps from drivers to passengers and back.

    Xenon Problem

the ballast isn't within any seals, it's simply bolted to the bottom of the headlight. It's more likely that the moisture has damaged either the actual lamp itself or the ignitor/charger unit, both of which are within the rubber seal.

what and wheres the acoustic valve?

It's down behind the near side wheel, under the headlight area. It's for EU directive on noise pollution. Removing it should give you a little more induction noise but could reduce low-down torque.

    Auto wipers (182)

Yep, also on Trophy's and lesser models (if stalk is changed)

    Auto wipers (182)

It's the sensitivity adjuster. Turn it right down and they might as well be switched off.

    Auto wipers (182)

The sensitivity adjuster does actually work, it's just a bit 'delayed' lol! The bigger the notches the more sensitive the wipers are and vice versa.

    Auto wipers (182)

Yes I believe so mate. Just fit a 1.2 (or whatever) stalk and so long as the model didn't have auto wipers, yours should be disabled. Disclaimer, I've never actually tried it and therefore will not be held responsible for wasting your time! :rasp:
