Erm ABS lets you steer and brake at the same point.
In the ice and snow, manual braking is better, in fact in the conditions i were in yesterday my ABS didnt work full stop.
Theres too much discussion of power, a lot of people in this forum give too much importance/empahsis on straightline performance. The point of the ralleye was its handling, something it was very very good at.
Hold on, ABS wouldnt help, it doesnt stop you from skidding.
I agree with 172cup, left foot braking is useful, and make sure you pump the pedal, dont stamp on it like you would in an ABS car. Dont put too much pressure on it either.

well probably something do with you not being able to see the back when youre driving, it will be caused on the overrun so have a look in your rear view mirror then
Well flames are caused by unburnt fuel touching the hot exhaust pipe causing it to obviously set alight. Dont know bout the pops, must be f**kin sweet though
Youre not trying hard enough! Try flicking one way to transfer weight and then another, or do it in gravel, or a cricket pitch like i do! Nice and slippy! Bexley Cricket ground is the best, its like a bowl shape so the water collects, makes the grass wet, you can do hooge handbrake turns :D
