Sounds like a misprint as i thought it was around 5 seconds. What theyve probably done is printed the 0-60 of a short ratioed car and the max of a long ratioed one so it appeals more. I know someone whose been on that track package and he said the clio was absolute crap!
Optimax is well worth using, as has been mentioned thats how the 172 gets all its 172bhp. You wont be causing any damage by using 93 or 95ron though. Annoyling shell dont seem that bothered by keeping a constant amount of optimax in their garages.
The ideal thing to do is have optimax and get...
Anyone know how good these cars are?
Ive just been out on a drive on my favourite set of roads in kent and i overtook one just after a chicane style bend (i thought it was a mondeo at first!). He then overtook on the next bit of straight, obviously i didnt bother giving chase. They didnt...
Chris- With a car called zoe how on earth do you think you can beat me! lol
How much lower is the cup than the 172 then? Has anyone bottomed out in their cup yet?
I dont see the appeal in nitrous as straight line performance is only really fun in a car with over 300bhp but ive heard you have to get a progressive kit if you want your engine to last!
lol! I just think cup drives are a bunch of pussies
joking!
The cup at my local dealer has no splitter, i noticed it straight away being the geek that i am
Cool, though i take it the test drive consisted of just 30mph urban driving? I like the focus rs in some respects but im afraid im a badge snob, the interior is also disgusting and if its only good fun on track id rather get a real track car. At the end of the day the cup is almost half the...
In the really bad weather a few days back i was only getting 29.5!! The problem for me is my journey to work is stop start, and the only other time i drive it is to the gym which is a great journey, i cant help but drive uneconomically!
Tim, the ford has no problem handling the power its the way the car has been set up with the quaife, its just uncompromised for the average UK road. If you floor a FWD youll always get a bit of torque steer.
Thats a piss take, considering the UK exhaust system is supposed to be worth a grand, youd think it would last. I know non-uk cars have 1 less silencer, wonder if the systems are any different (and maybe more reliable!) than the uk models??
Yeah, theyre supposed to be on both. Id personally leave them off. Mine might only be an extreme but after a few washes and polishes the badges looked crap with scum round the edges so i just took them off with a hairdryer!
I was lucky enough to have a drag from the lights with a cup today...
I wouldnt take your own retribution, my mate got 5 years for GBH when someone tried mugging him. Its the same as the whole thing with defending your home. Id love to see his face as you walk in with the feds though! What a dick!
