yep the bumper attaches to the front wing on the inside of the wheel arch liner. Trust me mate, they do have em on Ph1's ;) If you prise it off, as you found, the clip will be removed from the bumper and you'll have to stick it back together! :)
on a 2002 1.2 Clio, can someone quickly please confirm, are the discs 238mm or 259mm?? I'm hearing both and getting very confused! lol! ;) Any other details would be appreciated also :)
Is this spec corect;
Diameter 238mm Bore 61mm Height 41mm Thickness 12mm Mounting Holes 4
on mine, which is a mk2 ph2 you remove the wheel arch liner to gain access to the bolt holding the bumper on. The fixings are similar so not sure about 'prising it off' I'd much rather undo the bolts ;)
what size wheels/tyres you running mate? Mine are 16's yeah, on 205/45 tyres. I get no rubbing at the rear at all, just get a slight rub on full lock from front passenger side wheel.
mine are light smoke fronts and medium smoke rears mate...
as for red film...is your Clio red? My front's are slightly illegal but no probs so far *touches wood*
you don't have to replace the shox, i haven't on mine. Just bare in mind that the standard ones will ware out faster and yes the ride will be harsher, much harsher :o
exactly...is it worth the risk? Mine are Renault alloys and it cost me a fair bit when I first added them but I would be up s**t creek if they voided my policy in the event of a claim. Not worth it IMHO.
