100w bulbs are illegal as they are too bright and will dazzle oncoming cars. Also the wiring is rated at 10A and the 100w lamps (x2) equals more than 16A at 12volts.

sorry to hijack, the 182 alloys offset is 45mm and a mk2 ph2 non-sport is 37mm? So the 182 alloys would sit further into the arch than my standard wheels? I'm confused, lol! :S

it aint a bulb, it's a discharge chamber ;) and it's could be a ballast/ignitor problem, silly question but have you checked fuses etc...?

cheers for all your help mate, I have already downloaded that firware you linked to but it still needs the password etc. I did type 'Administrator' without entering the password but no joy. I will give the reset option a try, but then bed time for me, need :sleepy: EDIT... the reset worked...
