i added an exhaust and went down to £708. Still high compared to the 182. Only reason i was going to get an ST was to cut running costs. But at the moment tax is only £35 cheaper insurance is more expensive and the MPG is about the same from what i've read on the ST forums.

I went on adrian flux and got a quote for a 182 with an exhaust declared and my girlfriend on it. Got a quote of £580. Not bad Then did the same quote but for a fiesta st no mods declared and girlfriend on it. £970!!!!! How? Its a slower car

my girlfriend making me feel guilty as i'd be spending an extra 600/700 quid just to get rb with cup packs when i can get a silver/BG 182. She even trying to get me to get a zetec s fiesta as it so cheap to run. but they are more expensive than some ST's at around 5.5 - 6K!!! The RB i want is 6k

I really do want RB but i have to save a bit more. i got 5.5k. need 6k to get the one i want which i have seen. I know people will scream at me but i want one with less than 40k

I would normally but I am about to move into a new flat (first time buyer) and once i have bought an rb i won't be able to save up for mods as if i have spare money it is to go on the flat. So its now or never kind thing.

Getting a 182 but i can't decide which option to go for. I want RB with cup packs but because they cost a bit more i cant afford to add a yozza/milltek exhaust. Or i can get a different colour with cup packs which is a bit cheaper allowing me to add the exhaust.

ye it just 3 hours away so bit of a pain to go check it. The advert does say cup suspension pack both. Would refurbing it the same colour be easy

if you look at the last picture the back wheel looks like its flaked. Does this mean it could have been sprayed? as i assume original ones wouldnt flake?

I know they come with anthracite alloys but are some darker than others as standard? Or is just depending on the light where some look lighter?

Highway have been best for me the last couple of years. plus they don't increase premium if mods don't increase bhp. And like someone said. adding a parent decreases the quote a fair bit

yeh they know as i rang them first and they advised me to go straight through her insurance
