Hi all,
Looking to see if anyone can help and lend some advice. I'm not far off spraying my classic mini project then soon after my mk1 golf so I'm now looking into my paints. I will be painting it as that has been the whole point of my project and have had a go at spraying before, just never...
I also didn't cut the tabs off in order to have it lean slightly. Pilot drilled the splitter and bumper makes life much easier, should also deduce any chance of the bumper splitting while screwing in
Saved the link. (On a side note has anyone ever realised the sport has a towbar on in that release paper. Quite amusing considering its illegal on an RS)
Yeah, it's constant development. He was pushing for sure, we looked at the in car video after we got the infringements, was a harsh penalty but the boundaries had been pushed a wee bit!haha!
Not sure how they getting on in the workshop as I'm just finished my last week of my degree, so haven't...
Great write up! You guys looked good all day out on track, saw the Porsche parked up too, spotted the plate first though.haha. We weren't having a great deal of luck with the Europa's that day, starting with that 10 place cutting curb penalty, the engine randomly cutting out. Then the other...
Might not be of any use, but do you know if the pins are the same as the Megane brembo's? If so there is a guy on the Megane forum who sells the modified pins to stop them corroding in as much I believe.
Not necessarily sensors can slowly play up
Not an immobiliser problem if it's loosing power while driving and by the sounds of it, it is starting, just die's soon after.
See what diagnostic comes up with if anything. I had poor running when my pre-cat Lambda went, but not quite the same...
Haha! This, done it so many times even when up on a ramp, but normally on the floor when in the pits!
If it moves and gets stiff, work it back and forth a bit with more WD40. Will get there eventually.
Good news on the medical then!
Will be keeping an eye on this to see how your first season of racing pans out extra. Not 100% sure, looked at the 2 mazda championships, but I kinda have my eye on the 750 Motor Club stock hatch series. [/COLOR]
You say you have managed to wind the locking nut back a bit? Try giving the thread into the rod a good dosage of WD40 or similar and leaving it for a while.
How is an impact wrench going to help? Or I'm being thick?
A crow's foot is a very useful tool. Will give you a better surface area to help stop you rounding off the spanner section. Not always usable, depends on the tie rod.
At a quick glaze at prices between CL price list, KTEC and Kam racing I think with the discount at KTEC at the moment they are cheaper, but just have a search around.
I would look at the RC5+ pad then, as an RC6 is a much more dedicated race pad. We use RC6/ RC8 on our race vehicles (Elises/ Europas) and RC5+ for track day and some race applications to. RC6 will be a very noisy pad for road use as well, whereas the RC5+ is designed to be quiter. Just my...
Obviously this is my opinion but with a dent in that position it will be very hard to remove the dent in the correct shape with the crease line running through it. Therefore filler work is going to need to shape, by the time that is done and sprayed the labour costs are going up. However if you...
If you are able to, I would get a second opinion tbh, as that is text book wheel bearing symptoms. Car standard height, original wheels?
If it helps at all, a lot of people think that if a wheel bearing has gone then they will feel play in the wheel when they try and move it with the wheel off...
