Check out the search button, literally hundreds of threads on engine oil recommendations.

519 Automotive on here do a deal on it with oil filter etc.
Just to start with I would put it up on a ramp/ jack it up, and visually see if you can see what is bent. Stress marks etc on anything. Is the wheel looking like it is toe'ing out then or the whole wheel just sitting further out?
Re: do you need to have your alligment looked at once you have had a track rod end fi
For peace of mind I probably would. If they measured, counted turns etc when they fitted the new end then chances are they probably got the new end on within tracking tolerances. So up to you really.
What was happening leading up to you breaking down? Loss of power, noise, smoke, etc?
Generally if a bottom end goes it will have been making a "knocking" noise.
That is immaculate! Will be keeping an eye on this. Sorry to hear about your loss, hopefully will make a lot of people think. Hard to think about, as I'm a 1988 baby too, and also lost two good friends last year in an accident.

Shame about the off! You may get to know a good friend of mine Nathan Ward who races in the championship.
(In fact the range rover in the background in your pictures is his dads as they were down on Thursday too)
You would be surprised, it's possible, it depends. The bolt would have been under tension from the wheel face through to the thread engaged in the hub. With the bolt head snapped off, the thread remaining in the hub is no longer under tension. It will depend on if it was tight because of so much...
Don't envy the sound deadening removal, took me bl##dy ages when I did my mini shell before the shell went for blasting. That was 10kg of thick bitumen tar
Carbon Lorraine's don't need bedding in really, the only advice given is that with new disc's the braking system should be warmed up progressively, but no bedding in is required.
The bite from cold with RC5+ isn't great at times, but by the sounds of it, there doesn't seem to be a pattern to...
