    Fitting a 182 exhaust

Cheers for the pointers guys! Im guessing just removing the rear bumper doesn't give enough room to take the exhaust out?

    Fitting a 182 exhaust

I believe it's the original 182 exhaust yeah. I would like to keep it as there not cheap to replace and it's not in bad shape. There mild steel originally arn't they? Worse case i spose is i cut it off and weld a flange joint on for future fitting

    Fitting a 182 exhaust

I'v just bought a Miltek exhaust for the 182. I will hopefully pick it up in the next couple of days and fit it, but i am sure somewhere i read that to remove the original 182 exhaust you had to lower the rear beam or cut the exhaust. I will hopefully get the car up in the air on the ramps at...

    Smoke from engine bay :(

As Boosh says! Do-able, but not very pleasant having to get a gearbox up and down and wiggled about on the floor!
  18. James105

    Smoke from engine bay :(

How mechanically minded are you? Involves removing the gearbox to change the clutch
  19. James105

    Smoke from engine bay :(

Yeah, they can smoke if they have been slipping a lot for a period of time. I rang Renault not too long ago regarding the price of a clutch kit, and im sure they said £107 for the clutch kit. (Thats parts only)

    Converting fogs to sidelights?

If fog lights are fitted and wired up they must work. If a car doesn't have front fog lamps, then it can't fail.

    Insurance Tip

    He is main driver..
  28. James105

    Insurance Tip

Not fronting in the slightest! He is the main driver, just adding possible additional drivers onto his policy! Added my mum, knocked a bit off. Based on the original post by the OP it isn't fronting, but what SC03OTT has put, is a bit different.lol
