No, I keep putting it off. I still have to de pin loads of wires but I want to run it by my mechanic before I do anything drastic. Once ive stripped out everything I dont need ill tidy it all up and find a home for the UCH and fuses. Up underneath the dash id image. What have you done with yours?
Nothing exciting has happened recently. New poverty spec windscreen fitted, blanked off the hole left by removing the heater matrix, seperated some unused wires from the loom, had a fight with my seat to get it in the perfect position and fitted a phone mount to the dash.
Just need a connector...
Good progress! I have some questions, have you removed the sensor (YAW?) from in front of the handbrake? If so I assume its not required? Also, I have a wire going to the back of the handbrake but I cant see one on yours, did you remove that too? Im assuming that is to do with the hand brake...
Looks good at first glance... :)

I'm not affraid to admit that the back of mine has felt twitchy a couple of times when pushing it. Only ever had PS4's on it.
Seeing the stability control light flash on at 145mph on a (private?) motorway that was moderately bumpy is poop enducing.
I rarely thrash it in the corners though...
That 0-100mph time sounds believable.
I timed my M135i Auto (400hp 570nm) at 4.2 to 60mph and 9.6 to 100mph.
Jury is out on how accurate the figures are but 0-60mph stock 320hp was 4.8 which is close to book figure. Numbers dont mean shite though, appart from the ones on your licence :/
Ally blanking plate bonded on
Fitted some padding on the rollcage to protect my noggin/helmet
Discovered in a hail storm that both the doors leak from somewhere, maybe window seals.
Got Black series ARB bushes and K-Tec 182 mani to 172 exhaust sports cat on order.
Cage is in. Just been slimming down the bottom dash before I refit it. I'll save that for another day. Lots of wire management and switches/buttons to relocate too - fiddly s**t. 👍
The cambelt job is £600+ so add that onto the asking price. If it's got no history I wouldn't bother though, go and drive another one (good example) and see if it feels better. If it doesn't, get something else :D
I'm not totally sure if I need any other bits to go with the cams, I'll ask the mechanic before hand to be sure!
197 cams with matched inlets, 182 manifold and cat back + decat/sports cat gets around 190bhp from what ive read. After mapping of course. Some get mid 190's 👍
Dropped the car off to have the cage fitted today, pick it up next weekend.
Also got some 197 cams so I'm spending my afternoon cleaning them up, the toilet paper I bought recently is coming in handy :P
Do the easy, free stuff like spare wheel, rear seats, carpet etc, and then spend money on the important stuff like pads, brake fluid and some track days.
If you get the bug you will probably want to strip it more, if you don't then you can chuck stuff back in and no harm done.
