Its all good if you are round the front but if it starts squirting at the rear you are in trouble.

Have a lot of paper towel ready to catch any fuel that leaks out of the fuel rail, (or squirts out if you are unlucky).

Change the pads for sure, Ferrodo etc - discs if they are getting low.

I wiped up some condensation from the wheel well then drove it. Still works (y)

Well I'll defo look into supercharging as well then. Which ever way I go it will be taken to a decent garage, ED if it's turbo. (y)

Are you saying that a SC would need less fixing over time than a turbo or are you just refering to clios in general? :LOL: I don't know about the OP but it's not my daily so reliability would be nice but not essential (or expected lol)

Well I had pretty much decided on sticking with just a remap for this years track days and save up for a low boost turbo setup early next year all being well. Always assumed a turbo was the 'best' way to go as so few people went with supercharging.

I paid £1600 for a set of 18" chrome alloys when I was about 20, they wen't on a corsa SXI (baller) that wasn't worth much more. Massively regretted it a few years later when I was older and slighty wiser. Take from that what you will :)

I thought the minor gearbox leak came as standard tbh. Fix it up and enjoy, just have patience :)

Trial fitted a cup spoiler, the colour is a bit off but the extra 20bhp feels great :D

If it looks like rain on the day and you're taking stuff with you, have something to keep it all dry while you're out on track. I've started using a 2 man tent to keep spare wheels and tools dry. If you're living the good life and have a garage booked, forget all of this 😊
