Tell them youll go to another dealer. When I got my 172 (not cup) I was playing 3 dealers off each other. the list price was £14,600. I finally paid £13,000. (this was using Ren Finance) I agree with Rich-D with xmas coming its all about sales figures. Good luck with the haggling.

Got a parcel in the post today from Renault. My own little accident pack. A little leather case consisting of: 1xDisposable camera.1x Torch.1x crayon and pen and some little odds and sods. Anyone recieved one of these??

Wish I had that decision. Black one would be very different, but will be hard to keep clean. show scratches etc. Blue one as said before might be the common colour, and those silver vents would get on my tits!! Think if you were willing to wait till jan/feb before this one came along, then...

My cars just got back for the dealers. They reckon these caps arent needed on new Clios. But they fitted 2 on the rear wheels anyway WTF!! So have a word with your local Ren dealer. They also checked the other clios on the forecourt and none had these caps. Oh and these caps were replaced...

Renault have done me good this time. After 2 previous attemps at changing my cracked washer bottle, they got the right one this time. Also asked about a boot net, as my 172 didnt have one (felt like I was missing out on something :oops:). They havent got any in stock but have ordered me one...

should be on all cars - god even my old mini had them!! lol

well Ive been out for a look at my hubs. Im missing all 4 of them. Cars going back tuesday for their 3rd attempt at replacing my washer bottle, so Ill get them to whack a set on whilst theyve got it.

I know americans stick those covers over the front. just has the holes for head lights etc. looks abit strange but stops stone chips

front wheels probably need balancing. Best to check that first.

only problems I had with my Mk1 was the 4k rattle. and passenger seat cable broke. (had to slide seat forward manually/recline it so ppl could get in back)

put your ignition key in a turn till lights come on dash then switch off and repeat again. Lock car with key fob within 10/20 seconds and it should beep a couple of times.

you can disable the alarm just now. put key in ignition turn to pos 2 twice and then lock door. Car should beep twice. Immobiliser will still be working just no alarm.

Id phone them up. Sounds like your alarms faulty (cont buzzer) well mine doesnt do that. When it arms the indicators flash and LED flashes on console.

My new 172s alarm kept going off. took it back to the dealer and they swapped the wires over on the alarm unit. Apparently this alters the sensitivity. Hasnt given a false alarm since. Hope you get it sorted

Dont know if it is the same but I had to remove the black box on back of mini barrel. Its held in by a very small possie screw in one side of the metal barrel. Hope you get it sorted.

I would ask for a building society cheque + normal cheque. Well thats how Im paying for my new mini sunday.

Ive got a Sony T610. So wots the best kit to get. i dont want to spend a fortune?? Ren want £95 + extra for the holder +labour for fitting I dont want a big unsightly holder screwed to the dash, it true rep mobile fashion.

So sorry to ask the question.

Anyone had one of this kits fitted? £99 fitted. Its meant to be hard wired into the radio. does all the auto mute thing with the radio, and call goes through car speakers.
