Selling your car

Im wanting to sell my car soon, how should i ask for the money? cash? cheque?-> bit worried about a cheque as i dont want to hand over my keys to a stranger and the cheque to bounce! and cash would be a large fist full of £50s or 10.....hmmm......

I would ask for a building society cheque + normal cheque.

Well thats how Im paying for my new mini sunday.

Id ask for a deposit and a bankers draft, it only costs about a tenner!!
