Time to say bye to it. I had that sort of luck about 10 years ago with a crappy Corsa sri - only had it for 5 months, but it was jinxed. Two wheels nicked, running rough on idle, wing mirror smashed off by some pleb trying to playing chicken and then my the whole of my front nearside wing got...
What about going for and yeh I know its a Citroen, but what about a Saxo VTR? Group 8 insurance, whereas the 1.6 Si is 6, so only a couple quid more expensive. I had a VTS for a couple of years, a couple of years back - bloody good car, I imagine the VTR is musnt different to drive other than...

My old T reg 1.6 Si - with double optic headlamps. Monaco Blue a bloody lovely colour, shame about the cack alloys
When I figure it out Ill post a pic of my old monaco blue Si up, in the meantime defo go for an induction kit, the 8 valve runs no way as hot as the 16v engine, and the throttle body is towards the back of the engine bay so from what i remember (it was a long time ago) the filter is almost up...

I stand corrected>.....;) Ive never driven the 1.4 16v.
The only Clio 2s that Ive have driven were my old Clio Si , a 1.2 8 valve RN, a 182 and my 182 Cup. But anyway I had an Si for two years and it was all right, quite torquey, until you hit just over 4k rpm. I imagine though if...
I had one back in 1999. Yeh, they were originally 1.6 with 8 valves and 90bhp. They were basically a stop gap until the clio2 original 16v came out (1.6 110bhp). It was all right and the K&N induction i fitted to it worked very well. If I were you though I try and find a 1.4 16v Si, 98bhp...

I can assure you I aint! I thought 400 quid for my 182 cup was bad enough! ;)
Yeh I paid £75 quid for it as I have an aftermarket headunit - sony. Had the ice link installed in my mini cooper before, now its floating in the cup holder - so that mount looks interesting,

I was sat in my 182 yesterday in Ashbourne when a older, well to do looking couple appeared and parked right up close to me in their 318i, and she proceeded to swing her door straight into my car :@- then looked at me like a piece of sh*t when...
Take it to a tyre fitters. I had two sets of locking wheelnuts on the wheels of a VTS I used to own and only one key for one set. Theyll just put a socket on with a reverse thread on it, use a bit of brute force and the wheelnut will break off.

I wouldnt like to have to replace one of those units in 3 years time!
Yeh imagine the scnario "yes that will be £350 a corner to replace sir" "Umm can you give me the price for some Cup shocks instead please??"
I saw a 172 Cup in Melksham this morning - only clocked it after it had near enough gone past me. I was in the racing blue 182 cup, driving past aldis and macdonalds.
Chris RT - Topaz VTS, best colour - had one myself a couple of years ago and still think it was the best car I ever owned....... But give my Cup a couple more months and itll be the second best car I ever owned. Get a 182, you wont be disappointed.
Doesnt surprise me. When I told the salesman who I bought my car off, that ages ago I used to own a Renault 11 Turbo, he was like "eerrr what car was that???? Never heard of that model??!?"

Well up to 2200...
But Ive just bought some Infinity components for the front of my Cup and to install the tweeters and crossovers Im going to have to remove the top of the dashboard, but I am a little wary of doing this without any guidance. So I went to the installation guides on the Cliosport home page as...
Yeh I use mine all the time. Bought one for my Cup off eBay for 15 quid. Makes me laugh though cos someone paid £30 plus £5 postage for one I was watching on eBay about two weeks before!!!!
