I am nearly 200% sure that the cheap set I got on eBay (just under 30 quid) were faulty or fakes as my car ran like a bucket of shite with them.
I sincerely thought it was the car and i was just starting to notice things but next service, I ponied up and got the full service kit from NWP and...
Starting price of CPU bundle dropped to 100......come on, you could have a tasty quad core setup for a ton!
Dont forget, there is a PSU to go with it on ebay too

I can't advise exact detail I'm afraid........but I did get mine back together and it was a complete cockwash to do.
I did mine by trial and error tbh

I thought they had fantastic grip in the dry thanks.
Surely not much touching them in the price bracket?

You all know that I bought my wee Clio 172 about a year ago and once I cleaned it after getting home, I knew it had been painted.
I wasnt so fussed as it seemed to be a flipping good job
You also know that the car was keyed recently and when it was in getting painted, my painter...
I changed one a couple of months ago for a Bosch one from NWP
Didnt fix issues I was trying to address but made the car feel much more healthy in general.

I was under the impression that the Lambdas dont actually throw codes until they have melted and been recycled into sovereign rings so in terms of your problem, there is only a handful of things that could be responsible........and you have replaced the top of the bunch, next stop.....try a...
lol......
I had heard, possibly on this forum, that the later revisions of the cable were said to address the creaky issue?
Theres not too many things that will creak like that to be honest and it certainly doesnt feel like a metal/metal creak.
Possibly the fork/nylon ball but again, doesnt...
As i said, the load is decreased (usually temporarily) on the cable, that part that i think is doing the creaking.
I dont think that heat soak would make the metal/nylon ball inside the bell housing nor the release bearing or face creak.
Surely the only thing that could be affected by heat is...
Can I ask why a track day is tougher on the PAS system?
Not being cheeky, just dont understand how it causes it to fail. Is it the high engine RPM or just the load on the steering/number of rapid corners in succession?
