Ermmm from my limited understanding you hold it at launch Revs...whatever you think that should be dependent on the surface (wet=less revs). Then you just sidestep the clutch. As you you dont raise it, you sidestep it. Clutch pedal jumps up, car launches. Difficult.

It was an option to have Cup suspension pack. If you took the option, you got anthracite wheels. If you didnt you get silver wheels. I dont know of ANYONE going from anthracite to silver, so I'd assume its not got the Cup suspension pack.

My understanding always was that the 182 isnt 182bhp anyway, its 182ps (?) which is a European measurement, translating into 179bhp. With the loss from the fly to the wheels I always expected it to be around 140bhp ATW.

TBH, I'm not surprised. Having thought about it though, its a sad state of affairs whena new something is rattling around and the owner thinks it odd but kind of reluctantly accepts it. Thats Renault ownership for you.
