Vs threads...

noticed something strange in that hardly anyone gives a crap about 1*2's versus other cars, yet if the title had 16v or Williams in the usual gimps would be up in arms throwing their toys around... there seems to be a big MK1/MK2 divide on here, but I've ordered the new RS3, so obviously I'll b back to tell you its the best Clio ever... this is 'FACT'... obviously as it is newer and has bigger alloys and the aircon button has an extra setting :rolleyes:

Anyway, proof the Willy is faster, google says so... :clown:

Jesus, I think it is you who is bothered about the Vs threads (particular involving the Williams), as this appears to be the only time I have to read the rubbish that you write

i think your right though, no one does give a poo about 1.2 v 1.4 if there were only 1.2 or 1.4 clio`s avaliable and there was still a "scene" or even a forum to mod a 1.2 shopping trolley then i guess there would be vs` threads, but thankfully apart from being a cheapo shopping trolley there are cheapo shopping trolleys with 2.0 engines and fairly big bhp for a car of its type hence the vs thread as RS clio`s can punch above their weight, especially with some tuning.

all in good fun

My next cars a CTR.. Have I been on Honda sites starting debates on if it's faster than a DC2, DC5, Accord Type R etc... No!

Does it matter to me if the Integra is faster in a straight line by 0.2 of a second.. Ofcourse not..

Am I going to go to the pod camera in hand to capture "evidence" and "facts".. hey I'm not anal like some.

Well even though you claim to be the son of god i have to disagree with you on this one im afraid! both myself and Sh33n anhialated a Willy2 the other night and it was really stripped out as well, 1/2 rollcage, badboy exhaust the lot! sh33n was in front of him, i was behind him and i decided to have a go as well and had to ease off the throttle as i was getting too close to his back bumper! then overtook him and a V70T without much of a problem! the willy certainly nailed it as well as he was giving it all he could to try and bet sh33n and i dont think he was too impressed that i was eying up his bird and got a smile back at one of the roundabouts we were at..... he wanted to prove a point and didnt :rasp: :approve:

lol! oops, wasnt intending to start something pointless! im not too bothered myself to be honest, was just passing opinion seeing as im new to the forum...who's this superman bloke anyhow? i heard he's just some bloke who likes wearing lycra and and eating magic mushrooms so he thinks things that are impossible can be achieved? ;)

i agree with that everytime i read a post from jesus 90% of the time its about how good the williams is and how s**t the 172/182 is and how they get raped all the time it gets boring

its the same track on repeat time for a change

I tend not to bother reading them either - in the real world it's much more down to who's doing the driving more than anything else.

BTW, are Vs threads not verging on being racing threads?

There are alot of statistical keyboard bashers which have EVO mag in one hand and a keyboard in the other who like to start discussions like this.

Alas on the other hand there are people who do actually race on track. :)

oi nooby, i don't claim to be anthing, have you ever seen the big big lebowski? (hilarious film btw :star:) and congrats on beating a williams, if your up near the NW anytime or better yet from there, i'll gladly meet up for a friendly comparison and let you adorn the rear, i'll put a large TV in the boot to give you a little chance :rasp: ;)

Andi, R34 is one of the greatest creations ever, i'd happily be smoked by one of those just to see it get off :cool:... of course however I would demand you take me for a spin afterwards... if I could ever catch you that is :clown:

Although trying to convince her to get it in Canary Yellow as that's my favourite colour imho, will be another matter entirely!! ... :)

But as usual its normally a modded willy that says his car is the benchmark.
A striped out cup v's a willy is best for comparison
